Student (Primary)

Eligibility

This competition is open to Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents and Student Pass Holders residing and studying in any primary school in Singapore. Participation is on an individual basis only.

Students participating in the Student Category are not allowed to concurrently participate in the Open Category.

Submission requirements

• Participants must design a watch of any shape, size and dimension. Alternatively, participants can design using the template provided. Click here for the watch template.
• Each Participant may submit a maximum of 2 entries.
• A submission must be accompanied by:
1. A colour copy of the design showing the front and back of the watch.
2. A short paragraph (not more than 100 words) explaining the design.
3. A completed and signed entry form.
4. An accompanying model of the watch is preferred, but it is not compulsory.
• If more than one entry is submitted, each entry must be clearly labelled with the following:
1. Name of Participant
2. Title of entry
3. Entry number (e.g. Entry 1 or Entry 2)
4. Entry forms are available at all primary schools or click here to download the entry form.

Student (Secondary)

Eligibility

This competition is open to Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents and Student Pass Holders residing and studying in any secondary school in Singapore. Participation is on an individual basis only.

Students participating in the Student Category are not allowed to simultaneously participate in the Open Category.

Submission requirements

• Participants must design a watch and its packaging. It can be of any shape, size and dimension.
• Each Participant may submit a maximum of 2 entries.
• A submission must be accompanied by:
1. A colour copy of the design showing the front and back of both the watch and packaging. An isometric view of design is preferred, but it is not compulsory.
2. A short paragraph (not more than 100 words) explaining the design.
3. A completed and signed entry form.
4. Accompanying models of the watch and its packaging are preferred, but it is not compulsory.
• If more than one entry is submitted, each entry must be clearly labelled with the following:
1. Name of Participant
2. Title of entry
3. Entry number (e.g. Entry 1 or Entry 2)
4. Entry forms are available at all secondary schools or click here to download the entry form.

Photocopied entry forms are acceptable.

Closing Dates
All entries must be submitted between 13 -15 June 2005, between 12-7pm at the National Heritage Board, 140 Hill Street, #03-02, MICA Building, Singapore 179369. Late entries will not be accepted.
