Singapore HeritageFest 2005 hits town again from 14 to 25 July 2005. Organised by the National Heritage Board, Singapore HeritageFest is a celebration of our country's rich, multicultural heritage. The 12-day interactive family and people's event seeks to create greater awareness, knowledge and appreciation for our heritage.
Singapore HeritageFest 2005 promises more colour and excitement and invites Singaporeans and visitors to uncover the many interesting stories "buried" within us. Personal experiences and tales that capture the rich history and heritage of Singapore will be retold throughout the 12 day festival through exhibitions, talks, demonstrations, cultural performances, heritage tours, hunts and competitions.
As this is Singapore's 40th birthday, the festival's activities will also highlight Singapore's untold stories and how significant events in the nation's history played a part in the average Singaporean's life.
So, what are you waiting for? Make a date in your diary, calendar or PDA and take part in at least one of the many exciting events lined up for you. You don't want to miss out on any "secret"!
